2012 Art Education at Squirrel Nest Studio,

Professional art education in:
    • Drawing techniques in graphite
      color pencil and watercolor pencil
    • Botanical and Landscape drawing
    • Watercolor and Watercolor Pencil Techniques
    • Sumi-e and Chinese Brush Painting in ink and watercolor
      on rice paper or silk. All subjects and calligraphy.
Beginners to advanced welcome.
Starting April 1, 2012 Sundays
10:30 am  - 3:30 pm. Minimum 3 students per class
No make up sessions. All registrations must be received and paid in advance of the first class. Beginner to advanced. Materials list sent with course confirmation. Contact for fee.

Special Effects in Gouache for Natural Science Subjects
Using an opaque watercolor medium learn how to paint details of fur, feathers, bones, shells and other natural science subjects.

Practical Aspects of Botanical Art tracks 1 & 2
Sooner or later you may wish to exhibit your work. Be prepared by learning how to handle necessary business practices, including contracts, pricing, negotiation, resume writing, portfolio development, and legal issues. Please bring lunch.
Section A: 4 Tuesdays, May 1 -22, 10 a.m. - 3 p,m.
Section B: Monday-Friday, July 9-13, 10 a.m. - 1:40 p.m.
