- Weston Nurseries is a fourth generation family-owned nursery. In their 81st year, they have gained a solid reputation for growing and introducing hardy, distinctive plants for the challenges of New England's climate, including many varieties of azaleas and rhododendrons. Plants and related products are sold to the public and to commercial customers from a sales area on Route 135 in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. The Weston Nurseries Landscape Department designs and installs gardens and hardscapes. Roberta Rosenthal was commissioned by Weston Nurseries to create their signature logo of the 'P.J.M.' Rhododendron for their new Gardener's Club. The well-known 'P.J.M.' Rhododendron was hybridizd in 1939 by Ed Mezitt. The initials belong to Ed's father, Peter J. Mezitt, who started Weston Nurseries with his wife, Anna.
