Botanical Art 

Roberta is one of America’s foremost botanical artists and educators. She is a longtime member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators and for 29 years was an instructor of Botanical Art and Professional Business Practices and Marketing at the New York Botanical Garden. She currently instructs botanical drawing and painting at her studio and requested workshops.

Her work is carefully drawn and painted from live specimens. Many of the plants are from her own garden or from gardens visited on excursions. The paintings are created in a variety of media on the finest quality archival papers. Roberta's botanical paintings have been commissioned for many corporations and institutions for publication as book illustration, magazines, postage stamps, packaging and newspapers. Her fine art botanical paintings have been exhibited at the Horticultural Society of NY, New York Botanical Garden, Ellenville Library Museum, Sullivan County Museum, Karpeles Museum, NY State Museum and sold through New York and tri-state galleries.
